Lower School Primary Choir

The McLean Primary Choir rehearses on Tuesdays from 3:15 to 4:15 pm. Students in kindergarten through fourth grade are invited to sign up to participate in this group. The choir is limited to thirty participants. The McLean Primary Choir is a non-auditioned ensemble open to Lower School students only. This ensemble is designed to promote the enjoyment of singing and performing in McLean's youngest students. The Primary Choir will have opportunities to perform on-campus and off-campus throughout the school year.

Piano Lessons

After school private piano lessons for students in grades K-9 are given weekly, in half-hour or full hour sessions. This private instruction allows students who have a special interest in piano to refine their skills while strengthening technique and building a performance repertoire. To sign up for after school piano lessons, contact the lower school music teacher. (additional fee) 

Middle School Band

The McLean Middle School Band rehearses Mondays and Friday 12:05 to 12:35 PM and Tuesdays 3:15 to 4:30 PM. All 5th through 8th grade students are invited to audition. Auditions are held at the end of each quarter. All band members are encouraged to participate in band year-round, although this is not a requirement for participating in a given quarter. The McLean Middle School Band will have opportunities to perform throughout the school year.
