McLean School Parents' Association
McLean School Parents Association
All current parents/caretakers are members of the Parents
Association, a vital link between the School and home.
The Association:
- Enhances the McLean School experience by holding events for:
- the students (such as pizza lunches, class parties, and
upper school dances)
- the parents (such as grade socials, faculty presentations
and parent peer groups)
- the entire school community (such as the Fall Festival and
the Book Fair)
- Publishes a monthly newsletter, The Messenger, that keeps
families updated about activities and information important to the
entire School Community.
- Assists the school in many ways through its volunteers who
provide warm hospitality and logistical support such as working in
the library and duplicating materials for faculty and staff.
- Sponsors the school's major fund-raiser, The Auction, and
other fundraisers such as the Sally Foster Gift Wrap Sale.
The Parents Association Board, elected in the Spring of each year,
generally meets the first or second Monday of each month during the
school year. Meetings are open to all parents/caretakers, who are
welcomed and encouraged to attend.
